SCRIPT SUBMISSION & APPROVAL
All scripts for the Grand Canyon Challenge II Tournament must be submitted electronically by April 19, 2023.
- Electronic script submission begins on April 14, 2023.
- All electronic script submissions are due by April 19, 2023, midnight.
If your script has already been approved by Point Loma Classic, The Desert Gem, Concordia Challenge, Camelback Classic, Last Act of Valor, or any qualifying tournament and you have not made any material changes to your script, we will accept an approved email from them. Please forward these approved emails to [email protected]. Please put your last name, first name, - event abbreviation and script in the subject line.
Students who are entered in the following speeches MUST submit their script for review and approval prior to competing:
- Interpretive Speeches: Dramatic, Humorous, Open, Duo
- Platform Speeches: Expository, Original Oratory, Persuasive
- Wild Card Speech: Interp In A Box

1) Obtain and complete the correct script submission form for each script as follows:
- Interpretative Speeches: Dramatic Interpretation, Humorous Interpretation ~ Complete the Interpretation Script Submission Form
- Open Interpretation ~ Complete the Open Interpretation Script Submission Form
- Platform Speeches: Expository, Original Oratory, Persuasive ~ Complete the Platform Script Submission Form
- Wildcard: Interp In A Box ~ Complete the Interp In A Box Submission Form

2) Attach script submission form to your script and submit that package for review and approval by April 19.
- No electronic scripts will be accepted after this date.
- Review checklists with your coach or parent before submitting. Do not submit with any missing information - including your physically signed script submission forms.
- Script Submission forms must be physically signed, then scanned and sent electronically.
- Be especially sure that everything is easy to read, that pages are not upside-down, and that your highlighting shows clearly in your scanned photocopies.
- Please do not send zipped, compressed or shared files.
- After script approval, you will print your approval email or just have it handy on your smart phone in case we need to see it.
- No changes can be made to your scripts after electronic submission has closed.
